Arlon LLC Outdoes Itself in Safety Record.
Eleven Years Without a Lost-Time Injury

On August 21 2009, Arlon Materials for Electronics, a developer and manufacturer of copper clad laminates and prepreg bonding materials for the fabrication of high performance and frequency dependent printed circuit boards, completed an extraordinary 11 years of operation with No Lost-Time injuries. This new record outdoes its previous record of 10 years and Arlon employees say they are still counting. The Rancho Cucamonga, CA based plant has a workforce of 85 employees and of those almost 30% have been with the company more the entire 11 years. The Rancho Cucamonga plant is part of their Materials for Electronics Division which also operates manufacturing plants in Bear, DE and Jiangsu, China.

The Materials for Electronics Division specializes in high performance laminate and prepreg materials for use in a wide variety of PCB (printed circuit board) applications. We specialize in fluoropolymers (i.e. PFTE), ceramic-filled fluoropolymers, and low loss ceramic hydrocarbon thermoset laminates that deliver the electrical performance needed in frequency-dependent circuit applications such as base stations antennas, phased array radars, power amplifier boards, communications systems, and various other antenna applications.

The Electronics Substrates plant, located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA specializes in thermoset resin technology including polyimide, high Tg multifunctional epoxy, and low loss thermoset laminate and prepreg systems. These resin systems are available on a variety of substrates including woven glass and non-woven aramid and are used in a variety of applications, including wireless communications infrastructure, military and commercial avionics, and semiconductor test and measurement equipment.
